Because of his personal life experience and formal training, Larry Larson is convinced that the road to freedom from addictions and into a wholesome, fulfilling lifestyle is found and sustained in truth, community and supportive relationships - particularly a relationship with Jesus Christ. His counselling practice and teaching reflect this conviction.

Professional Training is offered in three categories:

FOUNDATIONAL WORKSHOPS - These workshops are available to be booked by your organization for training of volunteers or professional staff or for general awareness and equiipping of your constituency.

CERTIFICATE COURSE - This 20 hour course is meant for training of professionals or volunteers who desire a foundational faith based approach to addictions recovery. It is offered in a smaller group Total Life Learning format of no more than 15 people at a time.

ADVANCED LEARNING COURSES - These are usually 10 hour courses on specialized topics like guilt, shame or trauma. They are also offered in a smaller group format called Total Life Learning to no more than 15 people at a time.

Sponsoring Group Information

Sponsor Group Fees for Seminars, Workshops & Courses

The fee for teaching and training opportunities for sponsoring groups is $200.00 per classroom hour for seminars, workshops and courses.

Sponsoring groups are responsible for advertising but The Recovery Centre will provide materials and templates.

Student Handbook

A Student Handbook will be made available at cost or a Master can be supplied for sponsoring group to make copies.

Travel & Accommodation

The sponsoring group will also be responsible for travel and accommodation. Kilometer cost will be a $0.25 per kilometer for any distances over 30 kilometers one way. For any distance over 500 kilometers one way the least expensive air travel will be arranged.

Excess Proceeds from Seminars

Any excess proceeds from seminars sponsored solely by Recovery Centre for Addictions, Trauma and Families will go directly to The Recovery Centre.
